In our Graphic Design 2 class with Christopher Swift, we were tasked with making a poster series for a fake concert featuring two artists of our choice. These posters all needed to heavily adopt the CARP principles of design (Contrast, Alignment, Repetition, and Proximity). This pushed me to rethink my creative approach when making these posters, as I needed to think ahead as to how I was going to implement these principles into my design. We were also given a collection of stock images we must use, so I gave myself the additional challenge of using only one image for all my posters to display my ability to create different design directions for the same job.
