Charcoal on Paper Canvas

The Binghamton School of the Arts Student Advisory Committee holds an annual competition where 10 elected student contestants render a still life using charcoal for 24 hours straight. Student Advisory members provide food and coffee/energy drinks for participants. They also award three contestants with cash prizes, chosen by a committee of judges at the end of the contest. This selection is based on skill, accuracy, and consistency. I was very happy with my final result and proud of my fortitude needed to withstand such a long artistic endeavor.
